Shingles vaccination recommended

We recommend shingles vaccination from the age of 60. Basic immunisation consists of 2 vaccinations at intervals of 2 months to 6 months. For patients with risk diseases, vaccination is carried out from the age of 50. Risk diseases include, for example:

  • HIV infection.
  • Rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Systemic lupus erythematosus.
  • Inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or bronchial asthma.
  • Chronic renal failure.
  • Diabetes mellitus.
